Rating: Summary: SHOW ME THE MONEY ! Review: I really like this book. Kiyosaki tells it like it is and how it has to be if you have a desire to get ahead and become wealthy. I think that what he has to say is important for anyone who dreams of being able to retire early and enjoy a life that is truly in their own hands. This book has inspired me to change things about myself, first the way that I think. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn ways to improve their financial fitness and to secure a prosperous future.
Rating: Summary: Has nothing and everything to do with money at the same time Review: Im amazed as I study the "principles of money" how so much of the information I am learning has more to do with personal growth and human emotion than it does with money itself. I still am trying to comprehend this. Robert's book really hit on some key points that my own dad instilled in me before he suddenly passed away last year. While not as focused as Mr Kiyosaki my dad was driven by something so counterculture in our society today; albeit the fear of actually HAVING TO GET A JOB. I just wish he could have read this book and talked about it together. Notwithstanding, I must say that this book will proudly be promoted to my "must read list"
Rating: Summary: Impressive! Review: I find Robert's book very impressive. It's really common sense thinking and it really change my perspective of money because i CHOOSE to change. i really SALUTE his ideas!=)
Rating: Summary: Great message.....at times redundant Review: The first 49 pages of this book were very redundant! Nevertheless, after that hump, the book started to rock and roll, causing me to realize that I can create a lifestyle for myself through financial knowledge and income producing assets. Great message, great book, time to apply the principles. I highly recommend the book!
Rating: Summary: Turns "conventional wisdom" about making money on it's ear! Review: This is a great book that looks at how to really make money, the financial pitfalls of working on a job your whole life (for what--a gold watch and enough to buy a loaf of bread once a month?). This book is a must read for all those searching for knowledge about how the world of making money really works!
Rating: Summary: A must read! Review: This is by far the best personal finance book I've ever read. Kiyosaki has an easy writing style and an uncanny ability to condense the complicated into the easiest form possible. If you are looking to understand the concept of money, how to get more and how to keep it, then you must read this book!
Rating: Summary: Rich Dad Poor Dad is great Review: This book has been a blessing to me and my family. It has given me a new lease on how to handle our finances. Mr. Kiyosaki has a special talent and I must thank him for this book. I intend to purchase more of his books along with the training aides he has designed.I am purchasing copies for friends and a relative who can greatly benefit from this book.
Rating: Summary: Good book with simple truths that really motivate. Review: A previous review questions why the author would be peddeling books, seminars, games etc. if he were so rich. Here's another question: Why would Bill Gates still be selling software? There's more to earning money than just reaching a certain point--like $1 million. Once you get in the swing of things you want to keep going. The simple truths in this book can change your live if you apply them. Finding great deals has always been tough, but then again so are most things that pay handsome rewards. One thing is for sure, if you don't try, you'll never make it. If you do, you have a chance. If you give it ALL you've got, you'll make out just fine. S.R.S.
Rating: Summary: Food for thought Review: This book provided the basic principles by which we can begin to start thinking about investments. The guidelines provided by the author certainly prompted me to start rethinking how I can improve on my own financial portfolio. It is an excellent little book.
Rating: Summary: An easy read - a MUST READ - for everyone Review: I love books on personal finance and wealth-building. This is a great read! It is not a step-by-step "how-to" book. However, the mind set that the book tries to get over to the reader comes across clearly. About half way through it, I picked up a yellow highlighter for passages I wanted to remember. Hopefully, I can get my wife to read even the highlighted areas. The book is very motivational. I agree with above reviews in that the author seems to talk down to those with "regular jobs". However, the author is trying to move you to want to do more. Sometimes the truth hurts. I know - I'm a nurse working long hours for modest pay. Maybe this book is the kick in the pants that I need to go for it. Please read it!
