Rating: Summary: Thin pot-boiler Review: Dan Brown's work is fast-paced, but atrociously researched. In both "Angels and Demons" and "Deception Point", Dan Brown assumes a certain level of ignorance on the part of his reader and then exploits that ignorance. Steve Kellmeyer's "Fact and Fiction in the Da Vinci Code" (0971812861) has already exposed over six dozen problems in that book, and he could undoubtedly work similar magic with these two. Kellmeyer shows that Mr. Brown has a lot in common with the religious hucksters of the 19th century, even stealing concepts from 19th century anti-Semitic German theology and philosophy in order to reel in the suckers. If you have a choice between Brown's "Angels and Demons" and Kellmeyer's "Fact and Fiction", there's no contest. Get the facts.
Rating: Summary: 2 of the best books ever writen; on CD! Review: I listened to the audio version of Davinchi code and it was with out a doubt, by far, the best audio book ever. If I could have bought the audio version of these 2 for $40, I would have. This is a deal. "Angels and demons" is as good as Davinchi code, which makes it one of the all time best books ever. "Deception point" is awesome too, and with out anything that would piss of the church! If you enjoyed Davinchi code, you will not regret buying these CDS.
