Review: Be forewarned - I DESPISE Hillary Clinton. We know irrefutably she has zero caring or compassion, and places herself above the laws of god and man. She wishes to impose on the American people a socialist and mundane existence that she herself would never even consider (ask William Dale if you do not believe she is a destroyer of lives).Having said that, I held my nose and read. Much like Hillary, the book is shallow and empty. There's nothing here, and anything that could potentially stand on its own as a point of interest is most likely untrue. And, of course, she didn't write it.

Review: In case no one has figured it out, this review page is being freeped. If you don't know what that means, it means the denizens of Free Republic.com, who admit on their site they "wouldn't read this book if it was the only book in the world" are writing bad reviews in hopes of cutting into sales. Bought a copy today - it gives the Clinton side of the White House years. Is that one sided? WELL DUH - I suppose Newts' little gems are supposed to be all even handed or something? Or maybe I could turn to Grover Norquist for an even handed look at the Clinton years? From what I've skimmed, it is an inside look at the Clinton White House from the Clinton viewpoint. If that's what you want, then buy it. If not, don't. Getting into a snit because the book is selling is simply unAmerican.

Summary: Hillary is smarter than all of you combined
Review: I am a journalist who has covered Mrs. Clinton for years, sitting down with her, spending time with her..when the cameras are OFF. I must say...she is one of the most warm, friendly, and SMART and EDUCATED politicians I have ever met. We should not be judging elected officials on their personal life or whether they are "nice" or "funny". We elect them to make our lives better, and to govern with brains. She and her husband made our lives better. Look at where we are today with W. Everybody is out of work and my stocks are in the tank.
I have met and interviewed President Bush. I have met and interviewed Mrs. Clinton countless times. One was a complete idiot. One was smart as a nail, and knew her stuff.
In this book, Mrs. Clinton reveals more about her personal life than she should ever have to. I applaud her for that. And if she decides to run for president some day..it would mean more money in my pocket, a future for my children...and someone with an ounce of brains. Not just a cowboy hat and a bible.

Summary: The joke of the new milenium!
Review: Hillary's book was written by three ghost writers. Hillary just added to the content a little. Her book is basically a lie and she was living in a dream world as evidenced by her book. Bluementhal's book discredits a lot of her stories. Bill Clinton said Bluementhal's book was 100% correct. If his book is accurate, Hillary's is a lie. Hillary's book needs to be in the fiction section of the store. An absolute waste of money.

Summary: Read the books before you review, please.
Review: Senator Clinton's book is a candid and daring narrative of the life of an independently successful woman who just happened to be married to the most powerful man in the world. It must be difficult for such a brilliant and erudite woman to have her success so frequently attributed to her marriage, but Senator Clinton is obviously bigger than all her critics combined. While the real substance of the book lies in the less sensational tales she tells, it is refreshing to finally hear a voice of reason and sanity discuss Senator Clinton's reaction to her husband's philandering, the failed prosecutorial hunt for any shred of evidence in the "whitewater" case, and the departure from the administration of the emotionally disturbed ideological mercenary Dick Morris. She discusses these and other issues in a way that affirms her own view while still revealing her own self-confessed flaws (we all have them). I am not surprised by the number of people who have obviously not read this book who have posted reviews of it here. A vast number of the reviews here are simply unqualified castigations of US Senator Hillary Clinton posted for personal political purposes, and have no basis in any real content of the book. I hope that Amazon.com will delete any and all reviews which address not a single element of the actual product in question, posted by people with no firsthand knowledge of the product they are reviewing. I'm not in the habit of making purchasing decisions based on the opinions of people whose sole intent is to harm the author, who have not read so much as a word of the book they are "reviewing."

Review: ...Or is it the right wing ditto heads pouring out the woodwork here to slam a book that 99% of them haven't read! How dumb do you think we are to believe that all you Clinton-hating ditto heads who swallowed every bit of bile the right wing could get in the newsmedia would rush out and read a 500 page book of someone you profess to hate AND be ready to review it so quickly? Puleez! As for Hillary lying in the book because she says she believed Bill: I guess it never occured to anyone that she might have believed him because: 1 she probably thought that even he wouldn't be THAT stupid and 2 she already knew that while her hubby had been unfaithful in the past much of it had been exaggerated or just plain made up. Just one example: If any of you ditto-heads had really been paying attention you would know that Kathleen Willey was cut lose from the OIC investigation and almost prosecuted for lying to the Feds. Of course the media that you rely on for your Clinton smut wouldn't tell you that. You would have to actually read the final report of the OIC to know that. It must be really killing you guys that her ratings have gone up and her book is selling like hot cakes. I imagine you will all have strokes when Bill's book comes out....
