Summary: Not As Good As Others But Still Great
Review: I have read A,B,C,D and E. So far E was the best one. C has a good plot and story but the ending wasn't as good as most. I pretty much thought that the ending kind of stinked. I'm pretty young (13) and I don't like a lot of books, but with Kinsey's attitude and style she really makes me stick with her stories. It's very hard for me to put her books down and I have a wonderful time reading them. Thanks Sue Grafton!

Summary: Suspensful.
Review: I loved this book. I felt as though the characters were sitting right here in front of me. I could see their faces, their expressions and hear their voices. The ending was still too fast for me. I have read all of her later books and have recently gone back to the beginning. These early books end way too abrubtly, but they are interesting endings.

Summary: Another great letter of the alphabet story
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I felt that this was one that tied up the loose ends of the story and giving an outcome for all of the pertinent characters. I was greatly intrigued and was guessing the whole time as to who the murderer really was. I would recommend this book highly. I feel that Sue Grafton has hit a home run with this one.

Summary: Skip from B to D
Review: I think this was written because Ms. Grafton's Publisher was pushing her to get the next one out. It's really boring! But don't give up! "D is for Deadbeat" is packed with excitement! Since the next book doesn't depend on anything in this book, I'd just skip this one and go straight from "B is for Burgular" to "D is for Deadbeat"!

Summary: A fun read
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this one, but my favorite is still A is for Alibi

Summary: "C" IS FOR COZY
Review: I usually don't like to use the word "cozy" in describing a mystery because it makes me think I won't like it but I'd have to say that Grafton's alphabet series can only be described as such. There isn't much violence yet most of the stories do involve a murder. She has the knack for writing plausible yarns that keep the reader guessing until the very end. "C" Is For Corpse is no exception and was a very enjoyable read in my opinion

These are all quick reads and, while they can stand alone, it's more fun starting with "A" and following Kinsey's caseload from month to month. Grafton has written these books in such a way that when you finish one and start the next, only a matter of weeks have passed in Kinsey's life. I find the best time to read them is when you're craving something light and not too taxing on the brain yet written well enough to maintain your interest level. I have "D" Is For Deadbeat lined up next but I'll have to read a few "heavier" books first so that I can fully appreciate the relaxation I experience when reading the next letter in this alphabet series.

Summary: Not as suspenseful as I had hoped.
Review: I was hoping for a more thrilling mystery from the well known Grafton. This is the first one out of the series that I have read--maybe I should have started with a different one! These books were highly recommended to me...perhaps I was expecting too much, but I will not give up on Grafton...yet.

Summary: Absolutely Loved It!
Review: I'm reading them in order, and after just finishing 'C' it is my favorite thus far. The characters are engaging and extremely real, and Grafton really gets a handle on writing about their lives in this one. Her wry humor is never better, and the book speeds by. There's even a subplot which is as enjoyable as the main. Don't miss this if you've been reading the Kinsey Millhone mysteries.

Summary: Grafton's Best
Review: I've read the entire alphabet so far ("O" at the time of writing this review), and this one is my favorite. Reason? It's the most clever. It's the one I suggest for people who want to try her out. (I don't recommend "A is for Alibi" even though there is some merit to reading them in order.)
