Preach on Sister, Preach on: The Queen of Comedy

Review: LaWanda Page is a hilarious comedienne and although her material is shocking in its raw sexual humor, most of the things that she's making us laugh about are familiar and human, and it's heart-warming and comforting, actually, to hear such obsenity come out of the mouth of a woman (and at the time, LaWanda was in her 50s!). Keep in mind that this recording was made more than 30 years ago. LaWanda Page was ahead of her time then and I'm not sure we've caught up with her yet.
My only lament is that this is a particularly short CD.
