Rating: Summary: Mini James Bond Review: ?STORMBREAKER? by: Anthony Horowicz was an overexciting book full of adventure and edge of your seat sequences. This book?s plot is set in England in the present time and possibly a couple years in the future. The main character Alex Rider a 14 year old boy?s uncle dies and the police claim that it was due to a car accident. Alex knowing that his uncle is the most careful person in the world knows that he was wearing his seatbelt while driving since the police said that was another reason of death. Alex goes and finds the car to investigate the actual cause, almost killing himself in the process Alex finds that the car is lined with bullet holes and the windows all blown out from the flying projectiles. Alex then goes to his uncle?s so called work at the so-called ?bank?. Alex then climbs outside of the enormous building to reach his uncle?s office and finding top-secret James Bond like files realizing that his uncle wasn?t a banker. Rating: Summary: One of the coolest books ever Review: Storm Breaker: An Alex Rider Adventure Storm Breaker: An Alex Rider Adventure, by Anthony Horowitz, is a book of secret agents in England. The book was one of the coolest books that I read and I loved it. The book has a lot of adventure, action, and a lot of detail that lets the reader feel like he is there watching it, or living it. 'Alex let go of the steering wheel, grabbed the harpoon gun, and fired. The harpoon flashed through the air...Alex felt himself almost being torn in half as he was yanked out of the jeep on the end of the cord. In seconds he was forty, fifty yards above the runway, dangling underneath the plane.' By the end of the first chapter, the book draws the reader in and they will not want to put it down. The book's main character, fourteen-year-old Alex Rider, discovers that his dead uncle is an MI6 agent (Britain's top-secret intelligence agency), and is hired to complete his uncle's last mission. This book is one of the coolest books that I've read. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes books with action or adventure in it.
Rating: Summary: Stormbreaker Review: STORMBREAKER is one of the few books that made me want to keep on wantong to read.STORMBREAKER is an action and adventure book. This is one of the few books I've read because its so good and intresting. STORMBREAKER is about a boy named Alex Rider. Alex finds out one day that his uncle died in a car crash. However the cops were kind of suspicious like they were covering something up. So Alex was curious and went looking for the car and at a dump. When he found it it was perfect and nothing was wrong with from where he was standing. Then he went to the front of the car and there was like 50 bullet holes in the window and the drivers sides door. So then he went to the bank where his uncle work. When he got there he went upstairs to meet hhis uncle's boss. However what hefound out was that his uncle was a secret agaent and the bank is actually a secret agent place for the government and his uncle was actually killed while he was doind a job some where close to London. Hoowver since Alex found out so much they couldnt let him go. So they decided to send Alex to finish his uncles job or else they would ruin his life. So when they sent him they gave him some tools he could use like a gameboy that was actually a computer and toothpaste that was a string and all that stuff that a regular teenage has. From the begging of this book its very intresting. I strongly recommend this book. I hope you get to read this book becasue if you dont you are missing out. This book keeps you guessing throught out it all.
