Summary: What A Waste of Paper
Review: Are you kidding me? This book was HORRIBLE! Every other word was a typo. The story was old and weak. I definitely could not recommend this. Movie? I don't think so.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Goodfellas, African American Style
Review: The Family is about four friends who decide that they will take over the drug business in Philadelphia by hooking up with a Columbian connection in Florida. Just like most good things, they eventually come to an end and friends become enemies.
I have been hearing a lot about this book recently so I decided to give it a try and I am glad that I did. It took merely an afternoon to read it but the storyline draws you in and grips onto you until the conclusion. I really would have liked to see more. It is a rather short novel. However, being a fan of the Godfather trilogy, Goodfellas, Hoodlum, and other gangster flicks, this novel definitely reads like a movie and would be interesting to see on screen. There are no sugar-coated parts of this book. The author keeps it real and I can truly appreciate that.

Summary: THE REAL DEAL
Review: THE FAMILY IS THE REAL DEAL. I'VE BEEN AROUND REAL CAT'S WHO DID REAL THINGS AND THIS BOOK IS DEFINITELY REAL. THE FAMILY IS BETTER THAN TRUE TO THE GAME AND B-MORE CAREFUL BECAUSE IT IS BELIEVABLE! BUT WHAT I REALLY DUG ABOUT IT THAT IT DID NOT GLORIFY DRUG DEALING.THANKS ANTONNE. I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT JOINT AND HOPEFULLY THE MOVIE! ALSO, ALL YOU WHO WROTE WACK COMMENTS ABOUT THE BOOK ARE JUST HATERS. WHO TAKES THE TIME TO READ,CRITIQUE, THEN WRITE ABOUT A BOOK THEY DISLIKE BESIDES SOME DISGRUNTLED WRITER. THIS BOOK BEEN ON THE SHELF FOR YEARS AND STILL SELLING LIKE CRAZY. IT HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING TO IT. KEEP IT MOVING MR JONES!!!!!!!!

Summary: too superficial
Review: This book is entertaining. However if you are expecting a masterpiece do not get your hopes up high. To sum this up in one word : superficial. This book unfortunately lacks depth. The author shows much promise but I only wish he went deeper into the main character. This book was devoid of detailed information. Actually this book was devoid of words period as it can be read in under 2 hours by someone who reads at an average speed. The plot and everything else was very typical and predictable.
