Summary: A gratuitous portrait of a limelight hog.
Review: As a book that could be easily directed at those legitimately interested in fashion, one would expect this book to pay some tribute to that world. But instead the book focuses completely on the usually dull life of Mr.Schenkenberg and ignores the details of the career that made him famous. I was most disappointed.

Review: Both the book and the man. A great history of his infamous career as well as himself. A fantastic conglomerate of collections of prose from so many whose lives he has touched, as well as breathtaking photography. Truly revolutionized the industry for all time, flawlessly... He truly is a modern-day Michelangelo... cudos to you Marcus Lodewijk... "still the sweetest cat..."

Summary: Marcus Schenkenberg is real!
Review: I bought the book as soon as it caught my eye in the Rizzoli in SoHo. I am amazed by his beauty and the quality of the photos, but the best part of the book was finding out little details about Marcus. The only other piece of information I'm still curious about is whether he speaks Dutch. I was happy to see that the proceeds from New Rules are donated to charity as well.

Review: i was expecting some great story about the life of a model and its many people and all about it but instead i find some little picture book with this horrible guy who tries to look good but somehow doesnt get it right ???? i only wish that amazon would allow me to give this book zero stars! if you wanna read something sweet and great read that book about GIA and dont you forget about her! i didnt like this book actually i hated it augh ....aughhhhh

Review: New Rules is one of the best books by/about male models. It's loaded with good pictures of him but also blurbs from people he works with and his own thoughts. Definetly worth getting. When the pictures get old you still have interesting reading.

Review: This book is a great depection of a male supermodel who is the most astonishing man I've ever seen. The book is full of great photos of this model, showing us his hot body and its beauty. The only thing that's wrong with this book is that it should show some naked pictures of Marcus, and more homoerotic displays of him. Besides that, it's a good book that will fill your head with some delightful daydreams of sex and passion.
