  Summary: Man or Myth?
Review: This books proves that Lincoln really was a politician. It's definitely worth the money, providing you don't believe everything you read.

Summary: Ouch! They lied to me in school.
Review: Though this book will (and has) enrage Lincoln-worshippers (being a former one myself) it is the bitter medicine that will counteract the poison that government schools fed you in your formative years.

ALL of us were taught what a great man Lincoln was. This is not surprising since it is a well-known fact that "the victors write the history books."

Kudos to DiLorenzo for daring to tell the truth about a sacred subject.

If you are brave enough, open-minded enough, honest enough to read this book cover to cover, you will learn the awful truth that Lincoln was, in fact, a tyranical dictator. Running roughshod over the Constitution and the people of the United States.

Among the facts that you will read are:

Lincoln was, at best, indifferent to the plight of the slaves, seeing slavery only as an excuse for the "Civil" war, not a righteous cause.

Lincoln had innocent people jailed and even deported for daring to express an opinion contrary to his.

Lincoln oversaw a brutal, bloody, most uncivilized war against civillians in the south.

Read this book. Check out the references. Make your honest assessment of the "Real Lincoln." I did - and I'm ashamed that the motto of the state I live in is "Land of Lincoln."
