Rating: Summary: The Heart of a Puritan Review: This account of John Winthrop and his motives behind the move to New England was amazing. The heart of this man, exhibited in his struggle as to whether or not he should leave England, his passionate love for his wife and family and his heart for the glory of God should challenge all of us. A definite read for any who are pursuing the heart of God and His calling for our lives.

Rating: Summary: Long, boring, But--OK Review: This book looked bring from the beginning, but a few paragraphs (and I do mean a few..) lifted up the story and made it interesting for the reader. Although no vivid picture was painted for me, I could still tell what was going on.
Rating: Summary: The Fiance Review: This book recounts the struggle between Politics and Ideals, the Practical and the Spiritual. It isn't true that the ancestors of our country were incorruptible, etc. etc., that the old times were better. Not a bit boring for anyone who reads history. Fascinating and educational.

Rating: Summary: Although informative, quite boring and tedious to read Review: This book was a requirement for my 11th grade gifted and talented english program. Alhtough this book was quite informative, my classmates and I often found ourselves dozing off at home while completing the necessary reading. The book gave good background on the reasons behind the mass migration of the Puritans to New England, but if you don't have to read this book, I suggest you don't!
