Summary: Not very interesting
Review: I struggled to finish this book. I really did not find it interesting. It is simply a personal memoir and there seem to be no end to the stream of this type of book about growing up in Ireland. Maybe some one who knows the guy or his successful business might find it interesting or would like to know about his family but apart from that he had a uneventful life or not one that was of any significance to read about.

Summary: THIS WAS A WONDERFUL TO BOOK READ AND I FELT SO CONNECTED TO
Review: Its memior about his life living in the city of Dublin, Ireland. His family poor and so on. I feel this book was a really great read because I felt he had so many obstacles, but past them. I have so thoughts thats its a long hard to get in them into sentences. I hope the author realizes this book will a excellent movie as well. Thank you.

Summary: Forget this one
Review: The profits from this book are going to charity. That is probably the best thing about this bloated, self-serving exercisein ego-enrichment. Mister Cullen is a remarkable man and he wants you to know that in a desperate way. He could have saved everyone a lot of trouble and just given the money directly to the charities. Mr Cullen tells the reader that he is not a professional writer. That wasn't needed.

Summary: It's a Long Way From Penny Apples
Review: This book is essential for anyone who wants inspiration to succeed in life. Better than any of the more famous business authors, Bill Cullen succeeds in making this book witty and humorous, interesting while tugging at all your emotions, he succeeds in providing entertainment throughout. What is also interesting is his account of the role that strong women played in shaping his personality, his life and his determination to succeed from extremely poor and humble beginnings. Bill Cullen also shows that while he was extremely lucky in life this was largely due to his determination and drive to keep learning and keep trying, never giving up because as the great golfer, Gary Player, used to say "The more I practice, the luckier I get!".

Bill Cullen's book can stand for all nationalities as well as all racial and ethnic groups and should be an inspiration for everyone. The beauty about htis book is that the proceeds of the book are selflessly going to charity!!
