Rating: Summary: A great book with some wonderful pictures. Review: This is a great book for any man or woman who loves photography or simply wants to have something to remember their favourite stars by. Not everyone will agree with the choice of women included, but Reuter does explain his choices. There are some great photo's, some show women in memorable poses, others are very natural pictures such as that of Audrey Hepburn, and many have never been seen before. My personal favourite is of Monroe, in soft focus, this is not the sort of photo you would expect of Monroe, she looks very scared and upset, she doesn't have that smile we're so used to seeing, and her natural beauty comes through. I could list all my favourites, but instead, I highly recommend this book and you can choose your own favourites if you buy it. There is only one picture per woman, some of which are not photographs but rather magazine covers and paintings, such as the picture of Marion Davies. Each photo is accompanied by text, a sort of a small biography, giving birth and career details etc. All the obvious ones are included: Garbo, Hepburn, Roberts etc, with some you woudn't expect, such as Bette Midler and Sally Field. If you're attracted to women there's something for everyone's taste, if, like myself, you just want some great photo's of some truly unforgettable people, then this book is also for you. A great collection of pictures.
