Summary: An Absolutely wonderful and Enthralling book!
Review: "My Khyber Marriage" is a very well written auto-biography of a young Scottish woman in the early years of WWI. She marries a Pathan (the Pathans are a tribe of people who live in the Khyber Pass which is located between northern India and Afghanistan) and returns to his home in the Khyber Pass. This book shows no prejudices and portrays the differing cultures between a Scottish clan and a Pathan clan, very well. I highly recommend it for people from ages of 14 on, and who enjoy adventure packed, cliff-hanging and humorous stories!
