Review: I dont remember the first time that I read this poem. I do know that it is one of my favorites. This book is a look into the world that created the poem. It is amazing to read what this women went through. Where many people would have given up Mary keeps going and looks to the brighter side of things. If you love the poem please read this book. It is a great gift item! J.D.

Review: What a beautiful and motivational look at the life of the author of the immortal poem, "Footprints in the Sand". Mary Stevenson is a true survivor who never loses her ability to look at the world and it's people in the most optimistic light. Her faith never waivers, despite the obstacles and tragedies she endures from childhood on. Ms. Giorgio (the author) obviously took great pains to learn and relate the true story of the woman behind one of the greatest poems of all time. I highly recommend it to everyone - makes a wonderful gift too!
