Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Leap of a generation
Review: This book about the life of Bob Beamon was an interesting one in that it dealt more with his life struggle than the actual jump. It was a good read for the story it had told.

But do not expect a book about athletics. It was not entirely about the events pre and post olympics surrounding that jump. It appeared more to focus on Bob Beeamon the man and how he is still fighting his inner demons. It is also not entirely of the happy ending variety. It appears that there are still a few chapters that need to be written to complete this book. As he is still alive though, I expect them to still be written in the distant future.
