Review: I found this book hard to put down even though each narration is short. The stories were either so much like my own life that I had to laugh, or so different that I had to read on to learn about something new and exciting. It induced me to schedule my own Windjammer cruise to Panama and the San Blas Archipelago to see the canal and the native Kuna Indians of the islands. You'll wonder how anyone ever found the time to do all these things or wonder why you haven't done some of them! Easy reading. Try it--you'll like it!

Review: Irene writes just like she's talking to you about her life's adventures. I started reading her book one afternoon--one of my rare days off--and finished it a few hours latter. This is what I got out of that afternoon: Don't just sit around letting life happen--go make some experiences for yourself. I can't wait for the next one to come out, but until then I'll have to be satisfied with her columns in the local Georgia newspapers.
