Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Telling the truth,
Review: This book is one of the best WW2 novels I have ever read. Although it is extremely short I think it portrays life in the military during the war exactly as it should. There are no stories of heroic people or herculian fighters, they were just normal people who lived and worked on the islands of Japan for two years. Harrison Lemont is a normal working class person who tells war stories just like grandpa used to.
