Summary: LIFE ALWAYS BEGINS -- A message of hope and love.
Review: Jackie Greer's book not only captures one's interest in the most compelling manner, it guarantees an inspiring lifting of the spirit, no matter how dark the day or night. Name your cross, it's there, but so is that rainbow after the storm. This most wonderfully inspiring book is a must-read, and my only regret is that you do not offer a 10-star rating. I hope she has another in the works.

Summary: God at Work
Review: This book is a beautifully written memoir of a lady who is living life to the fullest with grace and love for others. Her spirit shines through every word that she has written and mesmerizes the reader with each turn of the corner in her life.

There is no way to describe how this book will find your soul, keep it until you have finished each written word, and let it go, leaving it far better than before, wrapped in the grace given her to use to serve others by God.

Summary: Remarkable Inspiration
Review: This is a must read for the person who wants to be inspired by a real life story. Jackie has lived, achieved and believed in others. It is a true Horatio Alger story of someone who gives and lives. Her faith in God is transparent and the miracles in her life are amazing.

Summary: a remarkable woman
Review: This is the very personal story of one woman's life. Jackie Greer is over 95 years old and going strong. Her book provides a window into history of her times growing up. The details are terrific. For example, when she went to college all of the girls wore uniforms (a weekday version and a Sunday version) and their activities were constantly monitored. She blazed a trail for all women in the business world. She may be a responsible young business woman, but you will love how she spent her first paycheck. She continues to mentor young women and make the world a better place. None of her accomplishments came easily. Jackie would tell you that she is the daughter of a mother who did not want her who was in turn the daughter of a mother who did not want her. Jackie is not bitter about her mother, her father's suicide, or her husband's death in WWII, any of which could have sent her into a deep depression or at least into a corner to mope for the rest of her life. She does not take any of these pains lightly, but she has a remarkable resilience and the ability to continue to live productively. This is not a polished autobiography. It is a very personal account of her life and her faith. It is very readable. Your daughters would also enjoy it.
