Summary: The Carpenters Who Built a Structure
Review: These Carpenters truly know how to put together a house or a structure, in this case a masterpiece of a book, which is not only superb in its category, but a distinct exposition of the metaphysical teachings of this glorious Science (Mistakenly called "a religion")

The Carpenters, Gilbert Senior and Junior, in this precious publication offers not a mere human recounting of Mary Baker Eddy's life but what they understood was actually the spiritual drive and motivation for all her dealings, resolutions and words.

Since the moment the organization was thriving evil was constantly attempting to resist the establishment of the cause of Christian Science. Therefore Mrs. Eddy, as a "mother" was in the hunt for advanced souls to help protect her "child" from evil of any sort.

Obviously since Gilbert Carpenter's grasp of this sacred Science was so highly developed he was called to work as an associate secretary in Mrs. Eddy's residence, called Pleasant View, which he did for more than a year. This first-rate experience with her enabled this bright teacher of CS to better appreciate the spiritual motivation behind what Eddy said, wrote, and did.

This book is actually a record of Mrs. Eddy's trials and great efforts in founding her notable discovery. Carpenter tells of the daily instruction that Mrs. Eddy gave the workers at her home including direct quotations from her.

This publication of the Carpenters is suitable to the student of this Science rather than to the newcomers whom might be unacquainted with its deeper teachings. I highly recommend this book to earnest students of Christian Science especially independent ones (Science Students who are uncontrolled by Boston cruel organization)

Summary: "The time for thinkers has come..." Mary Baker Eddy
Review: This is the most helpful and enlightening book for the serious student of Christian Science. It was written as the result of first hand experience in Mrs. Eddy's household from one who had a deep understanding of the science of Christian Science. It does not take the reader into personal opinions about the church, just gives helpful insights into how Mrs. Eddy lived and thought and practised the religion she discovered.
