Summary: You just have to laugh!
Review: Warning: this book is not the normal autobiography. If you take yourself too seriously, Lummox is probably not for you. But for everybody that has a sense of humor, READ LUMMOX! It is remarkably well written; funny, sad (at times), and strangely insightful. It definitely won't make Oprah's bookclub, but Lummox is written for a different crowd. It has been a long time since I have enjoyed a book quite as much as Lummox. Effing A!

Summary: Eau Claire native loved this book!!!!!!
Review: What a great book !! - it didn't take me long to read it - it's really engrossing - you don't want to put it down - yes, there is some coarse language and I warn the people I recommend it to ahead of time in case they have a problem with that. Being an Eau Claire native AND a grad of UW-Eau Claire, it really took me back to EC. I even lived at a place on one of the same streets that he did at one time. And ALL UW alumni know about Water Street. I'll definitely put it on my best read list. I'll also be watching for more of his writing!!
