Summary: Dead End is a cultisac of thrills, chills and truth!
Review: I had the supreme opportunity by chance to sit next to the author Jeanne King at the L.A. courthouse during a pre-trial hearing for the Kimes'. I saw in person for the 1st time both Sante and Kenny Kimes! Speaking with the author Jeanne King was as thrilling as reading her masterful detail of the Kimes' crime spree. Her book Dead End is being read a second time by this reader and is HIGHLY recommended. I read the 'other book' by Kent Walker and found that his memory is a bit self serving where Jeanne's accounts reek of third-party truth objectively with the well done research and 1st hand observations making it one riveting read! Get this book or you will forever regret it I promise you!

Summary: A Detailed Study of the Irene Silverman Murder Case
Review: I previously read Kent Walker's book "Son of A Grifter" and enjoyed it immensely. Maybe it is because I was already familiar with Sante and Kenny Kimes that I found this book to be somewhat less exciting. The author gives a very detailed study of the Irene Silverman murder case in which the Kimes were convicted. One thing that did bother me was the switching from the Kimes' previous adventures in one chapter and then to the situation involving Irene Silverman in the following chapter and then back to the past once again. However, this is a very worth while book on this deadly duo who thankfully has been put out of commission. Even if you have already read "Son of A Grifter" you will still enjoy author Jeanne King's rendition.

Summary: Truly Fascinating ... I Couldn't Put It Down
Review: Jeanne is a powerhouse investigative reporter. I've read all the other books on the mom and son murdering duo and followed the NYC trial, but i was blown away by the amount of information revealed in Dead End. The book even contains jailhouse letters written between Sante and her son... and what's written shows what a sick and demented relationship the two have... I've recommended this to all my friends ... Buy it. You will be glad you did.

Review: Jeanne really captured the insidious insanity of a greedy,incestuous,murdering mother and son duo.I was unable to put the book down .Every page read I could'nt wait for the next.Where has this woman come from?I cant for her next book.Thanks jeanne,keep up the great work.

Review: This book grabbed my attention from the first page. It is filled with about a hundred really twisted characters, all drawn right from the trial transcript or the author's personal investigation. These criminals had a life-long story of crime and just rotten behavior. The author had plenty of sensational material and put in all the good stuff. Every page is full of great stories. She explains the intricacies of the law, the trial, and some nice real estate frauds succinctly and accurately. And it seems like she does not ad lib much. It all looks like it is straight from the record, which is satisfying if you like your non-fiction to really be non-fiction. VEry entertaining. I literally read it in one sitting.
