Rating: Summary: Charles Platt's "Dream Makers" -- a book worth finding Review: I've owned my mass-market copy of this book for a bit over twenty years. It's one of very few books that I've kept such a long time. Platt interviewed twenty-nine science fiction authors, many of whom have since died, and does a great job of not only presenting the major points of lengthy interviews, but also offers context for the interviews, and sometimes reference to his own relationships with the authors. Particularly worthwhile are his interviews with Philip K. Dick and J.G. Ballard. It's out of print, but with some research you can likely track down a copy, and make it one to keep on your shelves.
