Rating: Summary: MAGNIFICENT Review: This is a truly fabulous, incredible book about the most interesting of the Kennedy family. Kick Kennedy is a joy to read about, and Taggart gives the perfect flavor of the time, including anecdotes about the war and personalities like Pamela Digby (later Pamela Harriman, Ambassador to France) and the Mitford girls. Kick comes across as a marvelous, spirited woman who was gone too soon. You should definitely read it. Fast-paced and energetic. A true page-turner. You also learn more about the other members of the Kennedy clan by reading this book. For example, Rose disapproved of Kathleen's lifestyle and said that the plane crash was God's way of telling her "no." John, on the other hand, actually cried when he heard the news---she was his favorite sister!
