Review: I have two large storage boxes of Jackie O. books, magazines,tabloids etc. So when I saw a book written by Pierre Salinger's wife (Ex-wife) I jumped at reading new INSIDER (insider being the operative word) details of Ms. Onassis. The author and Mr. Salinger did not marry until 1965 and I have to hand it to 'ol Pierre, he told his fiance/wife BUPKIS about anything in regards to the President and his Jackie. Jackie's whole rehashed history in 16 (count 'em) pages. With such insider insights as to why she married Onassis, "But at thirtynine, Jackie Kennedy wanted to live some more." Now I have to say, my 9th grade High School English teacher would have hit me with a ruler if I ever presented a sentence like that in a biographical piece!

Don't waste your money on this severely abbreviated re-hash. Even the pages of pictures offer nothing new! Shame on you Nicole Salinger & Universe Publishing for writing and printing such a nothing book.

I am only giving 1 STAR and that is to pay homage to the trees that gave-up a productive life, only to be used for this dog of a book---
