Summary: Laughing all over the world!
Review: Just like to say that this book is great, I have all the QUO-books(official ones)that's avalible but this was the most fun to read. Some people dont like the "not so glamuros parts" in this book, but who thinks that Rossi/Parfitt is some kind of saints!?

Some stuff may not be 100% correct but you have to read it for what it is and dont take everything to serious.

I highly recommend this to every true Quo-fan.

Summary: a great insight into one of the best ever rock bands
Review: Status Quo are a band often forgotten in rock n roll history writing - but not in the records. Their awesome chart success seems to have been forgotten behind a myth of monotonous three chord rock. Their music is certainly fresh and uncomplicated and perhaps that is why it is getting better with age.

I haven't got a clue what this book is about. Typical, because no-one knows anything about the band nowadays. They still tour and pull big crowds, but radio doesn't play their records - like the young bands! How things move full circle!

I'm sure the book would be a great read, but make sure you own at least a copy of the Hello album before you start to read this.

Summary: Almost, but not quite there
Review: This book comes up a little light in the facts department. You can only guess which period of time she is talking about at any given point as the author does not go into great detail about Status Quo or what they did/do/plan to do. It is really a typical book by a dumped ex-wife with all the customary bitterness attached. You end up not believing her as she loses her objectivity early on. At the end of the day she was married to an amazing musician in a band that is now an institution. Who cares about Parfitt's personal life. Tell us about the band. If you don't know anything about the band this won't help you. And if you are an expert this book won't help you either. But can someone tell us what Rick Parfitt does with all the money he makes? Perhaps the subject of his next wife's book?
