Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Well-written memoir of historic aviators and aviation
Review: From a first-time author, the anecdotes in this book quite readbly record much of the aviation history of the Rochester, NY, area and elsewhere in the United States. Involved in aviation for more than 60 years, Paul Roxin captures the character, adventures and challenges of general aviation since the 1930s.

In the centennial year of the Wright Brothers' historic flights at Kill Devil Hills, N.C., this book deservedly has attracted the attention of officials in the Pentagon, in Pensacola, the US Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Smithsonian Institution.

For a member of the Geriatric Pilots Association, this book is a fine accomplishment.
