Summary: Spend your money on Gord CDs.
Review: As a lifelong Gordon Lightfoot fan, I was excited to have found a copy of this book. Reading it, however, left me absolutely unsatisfied. Collins appears to have no interest in his subject beyong making money off a book. Recognising that everyone loves a scandal, he goes so far as to include silly rumours about Gord's love life that may or may not be true, rumours that Gord denies, that Collins got from a completely unreliable source. Very little emphasis is put on the music itself, which, as Gord is a musician and a songwriter, seems important. This book sells for a lot of money, I would suggest saving that money and purchasing Gord's CDs.
