Summary: Memories
Review: I enjoyed your book because it made me see I was not the only one who had a crazy childhood.I went to your high school and I wonder if we had any classes together because your name sounds familar.
The book makes you want to hug that little girl.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Well, it IS my book!!
Review: I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because I haven't had enough people read it yet. I've tried it on some good friends and each of them have cried. I figured that was pretty good, a book that could bring about that kind of emotion. Each of them cried for a different reason. Each of them could identify with what I wrote. Each of them were from Levittown.

My husband, who is not from Levittown, was blown away. Basically because he's in it and because it touched upon some really sensitive issues, stuff we've barely talked about ourselves and stuff we really didn't want anyone to know about.

I wrote this for my kids because I wanted to leave them with something to take along with them for life. Something to pass along to their kids, and their kids, etc. I also wrote this because I really thought I could help people see things differently. Maybe identify their own issues like drinking or adhd and change their lives - for the better. I also wanted to let young people out there know that if their lives seem like hell, there's so many other people in the same boat. You're not the only one. That's something I struggled with for years!

I hate saying that this is all fact, but it's the facts as I know them. In the state my brain is generally in, that may mean that it's all fiction. Whatever it may mean I never wanted to hurt anybody nor do I want to now. If I have I apologize with all my heart.
