Summary: This phenomena is real!
Review: I was at Amazon to order a book and decided to see if this book was still listed. Read comments with interest. I can affirm there is no untruth in the book. My younger sister's only purpose in writing was to share and help others avoid the pitfalls she went through. I watched her go through those years, constantly praying for her. This book is the answer to those prayers. Glory be to the Father!!

Summary: This phenomena is real!
Review: I would have an extremely hard time believing this story if it were not for a spiritualist whom my aunt visits. This spiritualist also has voices talking to her inside of her head, which I would attribute to insanity or obsession, except that these "voices" are able to discern information about our family that is not otherwise available. They seem to be extremely accurate in identifying the deep dark sins of the family, which to me is evidence of their demonic origin. The spiritualist was also able to describe my aunt's comforter in great detail, and she had never been to the house. So I am very convinced that the spirit channeling described in this book is indeed possible. I am also convinced that Jesus Christ is the only way to be freed from it, but nobody wants to hear that these days.

Summary: A problem with trust
Review: Sharon Beekman provides a clear view of the subtle and seductive dangers involved in New Age practices. Her honest description of how and why she became involved in the New Age, as well as her both positive and negative experiences echo those of others who have sought the seemingly refreshing alternatives offered by the various aspects of New Age. She unflinchingly examines her own mindset both at the time of her involvement and during the tormented years she spent trying to free herself from the attack of spiritual forces conjured by her association. Ultimately, she comes to recognize the one, true path to freedom and enlightenment and shares how her life has changed in the decade since she made this discovery. As someone with personal experience of the hidden dangers of the New Age, I applaud Sharon Beekman's courage and faith as she takes an increasingly unpopular stand against the growing New Age movement.

Summary: Searching for peace and greater knowledge of the unknown.
Review: This is a story of a person departing from their faith at a very young age and later exploring other belief systems and being confused and overwhelmed spiritually in the process. The events move mainly through the dark side of spiritual experiences and leaving the person feeling empty and alone. She finally reached a belief system that worked for her in reaching spiritual peace. The story continues with her sharing her solution as "the way" for the utlimate answer. It deals with obsessions and isolation in the experiences and in the solution. A good read for those in the Psychological field.
