Rating: Summary: Very nice book, romantic, and even a surprise ending! Review: The book is perfect for anyone interested in both Thai culture and what seems to be an objective view of the American way of life. This is not a racy scandalous book if that is what you are looking for. Wanwadee is a conservative Thai who marries a rather typical American man. What an adventure to follow her thoughts as she is confronted with this strange country with its modern culture. I frankly could not put the book down. The cover is a little misleading as is the title except that she really was a "mail order bride". If you are interested in Thai culture and a bit of romance then you will like the book. The side benefit is we American's get to blush a little when we see ourselves as others see us
