Rating: Summary: An Unforgetable Puertorican Experience Review: The book by Bernardo Vega is just what the title implies, his life but not it's not just any memoir. Bernardo Vega portraits the puertorican in the early ninteenth-century just when he arrives to New York. In a historical way but without being boring, Vega explains the situation of the puertorican in a new city, a new country, a new experience. A book meant to be read by all puertorricans and non-puertorricans also. In a coloquial kind of way Bernardo Vega beautifully expresses what is to be an immigrant in a new country that in the future will represent one of our biggest communities.
