Rating: Summary: Fun book about the early days of Duran Duran Review: Toby Goldstein's book about Duran Duran, published in 1984, is a fun, light read about the history and formation of the band up until before the release of "Wild Boys". It includes sixteen glossy black & white pages of photos of the band, smack-dab in the middle of the text. Its appendices are also great to read for info about the group circa 1984. Some of the info is incorrect (e.g., John's nickname is stated as being "Trigger" instead of the proper "Tigger"), and some of the info is no longer valid, but it makes for easy reading. And when you're a Duran Duran fan trying to escape the coldness and complexity of the real world, what better a thing to reach for?
