Summary: Great Movie Great Script!
Review: I am currently doing a course that requires me to read scripts and to make the exercise more enjoyable, have chosen to read scripts of movies I love and by people I admire - namely Mr Cameron Crowe. As well as being the script from the movie there are two added bonuses to this edition - included is Jerry Maguire's Mission Statement (which started the whole ball rolling for the film) and also a commentary by Cameron Crowe at the start of the book giving details of how the idea for the film came about; his research and how long it took to write the script; casting (the insights into the casting are very interesting); and his failed attempts to get Billy Wilder to play Dicky Fox, Jerry Maguire's mentor.

Reading scripts to movies always gives a deeper insight to the characters and the plot of the story and this is no exception. It is also helped by Cameron Crowe's notes at the start and his description of how Tom Cruise approached the part of Jerry Maguire.

If you are a film buff and enjoy this movie you will enjoy the script.
