Summary: Interesting if a little surgar coated
Review: Captain Collins gives a very interesting and insightful look into the early trials of Women in the US Navy. Unfortunately one is left with the impression that this nerrative is a little short sided (like Captain Collins claim that she doesn't know of anyone discharged for being Lesbian in all her time in the WAVES.) That being said, the Captain is an inspiring woman and the book is a very nice read. If you are interested in WWII, or women in the Navy, this is a must read, due to the fact that the author is such an influancial figure in the time.
