Summary: holy cow by bob verdi
Review: harry lives an interesting life, but it isn't portrayed as such.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is a MUST-READ!
Review: Holy Cow! is an excellent history of 50 years of Major League baseball. Harry relates his experiences as a broadcaster for the Cards, A's, White Sox, and Cubs. Anyone who loves baseball will enjoy this book. Fans of Caray will find it informative, witty, outrageous, and fun, just like Harry himself.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An extremely interesting read
Review: I found this book to be a fascinating study on the life of one of baseball's immortals. I grew up listening to Harry on WGNTV and this book illustrates just what a great man Harry really was. I was fortunate enough to have him sign this book for me prior to a Cubs game at Wrigley. It is one of my most prized possessions. This book is definitely worth the cost.

Summary: Good at the beginning, I'll bet good at the end..
Review: I've read the first pair of chapters, and this book is great so far. Harry Caray is the main reason why I'm majoring in broadcasting. He's one of my idols, and someone I aspire to be half as good as.

Summary: A BRIEF BUT NICE STORY
Review: THIS IS ABOUT THE VETERAN ANNOUNCER OF BASEBALL FOR OVER 40 YEARS. HARRY DOES A VERY QUICK AND EFFECTIVE JOB OF HIS LIFE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DETAILED STORY OF HIS LIFE THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT. IF YOU WANT A WELL WRITTEN, INTERESTING, LOADED WITH GREAT STORIES, ACCOUNT OF HIS CAREER, THEN THIS IS IT. I LIKED THIS BOOK BUT HOPED THERE WAS MORE. I STILL RECOMMEND THIS FOR ALL BASEBALL FANS (ESPECIALLY CUB FANS). A SOLID READ.
