Rating: Summary: Bravo for a non-fction work that more than just ordinary! Review: Soul Mate -One of two persons compatible with each other in disposition, point of view, or sensitivity. Someone for whom you have a deep affinity . A person temperamentally suited to another. someone, usually your romantic or sexual partner, with whom you have a special relationship, and whom you know and love very much.
While the above gives a defined look at what a Soul Mate is, Dorothy Thompson's Romancing the Soul reveals that there is simply much more to it than that.
At first glance I had imagined that Romancing the Soul was simply going to be about true stories of soul mates. Little did I know how very wrong I was.
Imagine meeting your soul mate from a dream or finding your soul mate in a cat. Impossible? Unbelievable? Or how about Doubtful? From best friends, to animals, to lovers, Romancing the Soul gives a whole new meaning to the word Soul Mate."
The book gives readers the knowledge of what traits to look for when finding your Soul Mate and goes on to explain that there are actually three kinds of Soul Mates as well as the possibility of a fourth.
Readers will learn the difference between the actual three, Companion, Karamic and Twin Flames through detailed meanings and categorized stories from contributing authors to help readers in understanding Soul Mates and finding their own.
From stories like The Drifters by Joyce and Jim Lavene to The Rock by Dorothy Thompson herself, Romancing the Soul will simply have readers believing.
With over sixty tear-jerking compiled stories, Dorothy Thompson's Romancing the Soul is a non-fiction anthology at it's best that will have you reaching for a box of tissues every time. Bravo!
