Review: Lynette Louise's "Jeff" is a journey through the mind of the author, often free associating, poetic, laden with multifaceted meanings created by the use of metaphor, puns and the unorthodox use of commas. Lynette Louise makes fascinating connections in the playground of her mind, entertaining, revealing, sharing pain and humiliation along with the joy and exhilaration of her personal discoveries. Lynette charts her journey of breaking repeated patterns in her life and taking control of her destiny. I met the author last summer and read the book out of a desire to understand the incredible energy and determination behind the woman who took on so many challenges and is filled with love of life, humor and playfulness. The book is truly a reflection of the author: intelligent, out there, brave, witty and unique.

Review: What a roller coaster ride of self discovery! I couldn't put this book down, for it's sheer honesty! Lynette's writing style is so different and poetic it took me a little getting used to for the first few pages but after that I was hooked. A must read for anyone who loves to laugh (and I mean LAUGH!) and cry at the same time. I highly highly highly reccomend it!
