Review: An illustrated history written and designed to look like the old Ripley's Believe it or Not texts (which Rogers read). Highlights the accomplishments (with accurate portraits) of black men and women. Excellent for pre-teens or middle school age children. This is a hard to find book, and even harder to keep. I've lost several copies to school teacher friends.
