Summary: A home run
Review: A Home Run

I have read some very good books, especially inspiring self-help books and One Rose Blooming rates at the top of my list. In this book Rose Martins explains the hard truths about life with real words, no sugar coated watered down version. Her straight to the point, tough love approach touches on subjects with deep down gut experiences. Finally someone has stepped up to the plate who knows the true value of striking out and trying harder. Overcoming obstacles is a way life and One Rose Blooming has shown me it isn't over when I strike out, it over when I quit trying. "One Rose Blooming is a home run that hits home." This is a must read for people of all walks of life who want to know more about life, love and (blooming) growing-up!

Thanks and Kudos
Mrs. Martin for a wonderful written book

Summary: VERY INSPIRING
Review: I enjoyed reading "One Rose Blooming". It kept me reading and climaxes well. This book is on the line with "Tuesdays with Morrie". It is inspirational and full of wit. "One Rose Blooming" is the kind of book you keep in your personal library, and buy for others as a gift.

Summary: Lessons from Rose Martin
Review: I have lived in Ann Arbor as long as Rose Martin but clearly have missed a lot of people along the way. In her book I was able to put a face to some of the street people and city people that I never cross paths with. Reading this book helped me develop compassion.

Summary: ONE ROSE BLOOMING
Review: Rose wrote a very informative and eye opening book. I have grown up in Ann Arbor and believe that she really had her work cut out for her in her journey. I know Rose personally and she has made a great impact on alot of lives and is a special person, how special I really found out in this book.
Well done !!!

Summary: Rose is blooming indeed!
Review: What an encouraging, enlightening, straight-forward, and sometimes funny memoir of a fantastic, and fascinating life. Rose shows that in the light of adversary, and the hardships life dishes out, that you can, if guided by love, reign triumphant. Her life story is an inspiration to anyone who reads her words.
I normally take my time in reading books, but I finished this one in one day. I absolutely could not put it down, and I actually stayed awake. I felt her pain, and I laughed out loud.
I am impressed and in love with her devotion, dedication, and determination to 'get things done'.
You won't be disappointed!!

Summary: This Book Will Change Your Life
Review: When I read this book...I laughed...I cried...then I took stock in my own life and realized that I really could do more to help others. I've been doing volunteer work now at a local nursing home, and I've never felt more fulfilled in all my life. Whay hasn't this woman been on Oprah? Maybe because she's too honest and too raw for daytime television. We need more honest, caring people like Rose Martin, whose message is: Rather than feel sorry for yourself, get off you butt and get things done. Others have it worse than you do. By helping them, you're helping yourself. You're helping everyone!
