Review: This was one of the best, if not, the best source of information [about a Hassid and his Rebbe] I ever got my hands on.

I say this as an editor of various magazines and books.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for this spectrum of information.

For this price, you won't find anywhere; it's well worth every penny.

Summary: Exciting entries of one chassid deeply m'kusher to the Rebbe
Review: Through the detailed entries contained herein chronicling Mr. Jaffe's many visits to the Rebbe, we are privy to the very human, down-to-earth characteristics of the Rebbe. I must admit, I was wholly ignorant of the Rebbe's great sense of humor before reading this work! Originally written for his descendants' sake, Mr. Jaffe's family thought all of Klol Yisroel could gain from these entries and therefore took the initiative to publish them in this beautiful volume. How right they were! Also of note, Mr. Jaffe chronicles his family's visits to Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka. A saintly woman of whom so little is known, My Encounter with the Rebbe thus transmits some illuminating glimpse into this most extraordinary tzadeikes as well. A great read, one replete with many photographs.
