Review: This is an emotionally powerful account of the author's memories of being in the foster care system. The story has remained with me, helping me to better understand the perspective of the sexually abused child. I would highly recommend it to those who want to learn more about a how a child may experience abuse, foster homes, orphanage-type settings, and social workers. It is a "must read" for social workers and child protection workers.

Review: Yeah, life was sure hard, harder than for most, but that's not sufficient to make for valuable reading. This book is heavily plugged on the internet and not worth the bandwidth it takes or the paper it wastes.
