Summary: fairly good book
Review: I read many books, and a book I just read was a biography of Jimi Hendrix by Sean Piccoli appropriately named Jimi Hendrix. It was a fairly good book that I thoroughly enjoyed. It moved at a fast pace in the beginning but slowed down later in the end. I learned some fairly intersting facts throughout the book about Jimi Hendrix and the things he did. Overall, I would only recommend this book to fans of rock music because this book is about one of the founders of rock and his life.

Review: I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Jimi Hendrix as songwriter, singer, or infamous guitar player. The book is easy to follow and is very detailed. It gives a complete description of his life, from the time he was born to his death on September 8,1970, and has the names of every person and band that he ever played with. It covers his musical career from the time he received his first guitar from his father, through all of his small high school-garage bands while traveling across the country, and then taking you through his first trip to London that was a major turning point in his career. After finishing the book I have learned many very interesting things about Jimi Hendrix that helped me better understand his lifestyle and personality. It also helps me recognize were the feelings and lyrics in his songs come from through the different periods of his life. I think that if you are interested in him, this book will give you many good details of his life as a musician traveling through the 60's era making a career for himself.

When I read the book, I was amazed by how many different bands Jimi was in and the number of different rockstars Jimi played with like Eric Clapton, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The booktells how Jimi's life as a rock star wasn't always an easy road. Jimi had to put up with jealous musicians, tough crowds, and drugs when he was just getting started. I think this is a great book for anyone looking for a biography to read for school, or for anyone interested in finding out more about rock and roll stars.

Review: I thought this book was the best Jimi book of all time. I have liked reading and hearing new things about Jimi...I learn new things every day. Read this if you want to know a little or already know stuff about Hendrix
