Summary: GREAT BOOK FOR BEGINNERS
Review: This book is a great introduction to daytrading. It is easy to understand and sticks to the fundamentals. I recommend it for beginners.

Summary: Those who laugh first laugh last
Review: To all those who laugh at Mr Farrell or at this book: Beware! Those who laugh first laugh last. You might have made your money with volatile stocks today or yesterday, but always remember the guy who shot his wife, children and fellow traders after losing his wealth in those very same stocks!

Summary: Slow and steady wins the prize
Review: I remember a satiric article years ago in the National Lampoon about making money in the stock market. The writer advocated buying 1 share of stock and when it went up 1/8 you sold it and made your tidy little 12.5 cents and when it went down 1/8 you just doubled your purchase and when it went back up, you were even again! Well, that's sort of how Mr. Farrell's book sounds, but I'd say that the majority of profitable, stable entities in this country are that way (profitable) because they operate in a steady manner, consistently accumulating profits. We're bombarded daily with glamour stories of the rich and famous superstars who make sudden wealth- well, that's the exception, not the rule! I have a feeling those who are really critical of this book are people who want to get rich quick, and have no long-term view of life. Look- even Bill Gates didn't get his $90 billion overnight! Sure Microsoft was profitable but his wealth compounded on what he earned, the same as what this book is suggesting. Unlike other authors, Mr. Farrell is not dangling a 'get rich quick' carrot in front of the readers but is instead giving the reader a concrete plan to follow. Those who criticize, please be specific about why you criticize instead of calling names or dancing around the issue.

Summary: Dumb and dumber...
Review: "Day Trade Online" - he says - But don't buy any Internet stocks - or any NASDAQ stocks at all. Give me a break!

Don't you know where the action is? I made more money in 3 days last week in AOL than this book can make for you in a lifetime. Most will probably loose money following this boy's advice: Buy 2,000 shares of "non volatile" utilities stock at a time and sell for 1/16 of a point profit! Give me a bigger break!

Don't forget Mr. Farrell - in a few short days the rest of us will be in the 21st century - not the 19th. Wake up and get with the program!

I bought this book for a gift - but I would be embarrassed to give this book to any live person that I knew...

Summary: Neat book - Down to earth guide.
Review: Reality comes to a day trading book.

This guy tells it like it really is. Learn to duplicate day trading techniques from your home over the internet. I saw myself time and time again in this book.

Read the last chapter first! This is where I saw myself most clearly. If it hits you like it did me - then you need this book. Those who say the ideas in this book are too simple do not realize that some of the most profound ideas are simple. Problems arise when you try to make simple trading too complicated...

One of the best books on trading from home that I have read.

Summary: Down to earth guide to day trading from your home!
Review: Very insightful , cogent observations of the day trading scene. Unlike other books on this subject, the author gives a concise prescription for trading online over the internet from the comfort of your home. This is a very desirable alternative to the traditional dreary day trading experience.

Summary: Great Book For Beginners
Review: I found this book to be highly informative in the seemingly niggling details about how the system really works, and how the little guy with limited capital can get in the game with the big guys with little downside risk. The repetition can be boring at times, but with a little patience, you will find nuggets all the way.

Summary: DON'T LISTEN TO THOSE THAT RATE THIS BOOK WITH ONE STAR
Review: By far, this is the BEST book on online trading. Mr Farrell's methods make perfect sense and the beauty of it are their simplicity. I suspect this (the simplicity of the methods) is why so many reviewers here rated the book so lowly, because they simply couldn't swallow the fact that they could have thought of it and wrote the book first before Mr Farrell.

For one, Mr Farrell is neither a gambler nor a risk-taker. His methods, though won't make you an instant millionaire unless you have a few million dollars as risk capital yourself to start with, are nevertheless almost fool-proof. If you have the patience and are not overtaken by greed, you can actually make a decent living as an online day-trader if you follow the book throughout.

I was holding a day job and contemplating quitting the job and becoming a full-time day trader for quite some time till this book came along. Now, I'm able to make a decent living as an online day-trader, thanks to Mr Farrell.

Summary: Shallow book, not enough content
Review: Farrell write a whole book about a simple idea. Buy at the bid, sell at the ask. If you do that for non vollatile stock, and have the capital to trade 2000 shares at a time, you stand a chance (according to Farrell) of winning. This idea may work, it may not (I dunno, haven't tried it) but you certainly don't need to write a full book on it (here, I just wrote it in two lines). Farrell repeats himself time and again, stating the exact same thing chapter after chapter, not adding any more information. In addition the book is written very arrogantly, the investing public is stupid, the day trader is smart. If you read my review, you know all the book sais, so save you money and buy a better book.

Summary: Quite Nice Written Book.
Review: This is a quite nice book, for novice at least. it introducedthe way of internet trading and an glimpse into how they operate astocks exchange. it gives us insight on how break into the exchanges' corn field, and how steal meat from the sharks. it introduces to the reader a brand new field the rest of the world have ignored-- this is a creativity. but does it work? i don't know.

However this book lacks contents, lots of repeatitions and can in fact manage to concise into 80 pages.
