Summary: Music Law contains two unique features
Review: This book is intended as a business and legal reference for bands or people who work with bands. It's written in plain language (not legalese) and is unique from other music business books in two ways: (1) it deals specifically with the issues faced by bands. For example, it includes sections on drafting band partnership agreements, doing band taxes, protecting band equipment, determining ownership of band songs, protecting band names and marketing band music and merchandise; and (2) it also provides contracts and forms on PC disk (for example, management contracts, sampling agreements, indy record and distribution contracts, etc.)

I'm always looking for way to improve the book so if you have any questions, comments or suggestions for future editions, let me know. (rich@nolo.com)
