Review: Having been in and out of network marketing over the years - I feel that my life would have been much better had I had this book as my guide in the beginning.I will not sign on a new distributor in my organization until after they have read this book and I've quized them about it's content and lessons. If they desire to go on then I know I got someone worth working with!

Summary: Fantastic Book for Networkers
Review: I am new to MLM and this book has opened my eyes to the nitty gritty of Network Marketing. It's real, no hype. It lays out everything, good and bad. My business has increased since reading this book and I have recommended it to my downline. This book lays out all of the parameters for you and shows you what to avoid when building you business. It shows you how to build a business. It's the best network marketing book that I have read.

Summary: Read this before you call
Review: I am new to network marketing. I wish I had read this cover to cover before I made my first call. I could have prevented some of my mistakes. However now I have a clear picture of where I'm going. I am presenting a copy to each of my new marketers and telling them to read it cover to cover before they begin.

Summary: Just What I Was Looking For!
Review: I borrowed this book from the library because the title intrigued me. It seemed as if I was having a one-on-one session with the authors. After reading three chapters I decided I needed this book in my personal library.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I feel that this is must for beginners Or experienced NWM. Mark and Rene explain the most common mistakes that most of us make in this business and how to avoid them. They use real life examples to make their point. I like the "Do not take prisoners" attitude of this book. In other words, they say the things the way really are! Not apologizes! And I love it! Summary: This book is ok.
Review: I followed the directions in the manual that said that if you weren't successful in it in the first year you should try something else.
Well, I worked at it for about 9 months and no success. This MLM strategy is very well thought out and good for people who want to push products. I'm more of a service kind of guy. This is probably why I didn't do so well in it.
MLM is not bad business, nor is it evil. Just think of it as a convenient store with many business partners. That's all it is. The better business people are more successful. That's it.

Summary: Good, but a bit too generic
Review: I hate to be the only person to NOT give this book 5 stars, but I don't think it deserves it.
The Yarnell's (now divorced) are probably the most successful spousal team in network marketing, and reading their lessons is important to each of us. Some of the gems in the book revolve around the distributor, as they become more successful, to remember that network marketing is a *simple* business, and should be presented *simply* less you alienate your prospects who would think - "I can't do that."
And the sections on the pitfalls and negatives that come your way your first year are great reminders of what you went through, or what to expect. My problem is that the book, to appeal to as wide an audience as possible, is far too generic. They recommend against hotel meeting room presentations; well, my company isn't set up for this. They recommend against the uplines doing the work for their frontlines. Great advice we all need to heed, but my business is run almost 100% over the internet, that's just not applicable. A good, good book I wish I'd read 13 years ago (it wasn't out then, of course), but which I feel is too vanilla. Regardless, I still recommend it to my downline when they join.

I have also begun my journey into motivational speaking and this book MORE than covers aspects such as confidence and presentation. Mark and Rene Yarnell have really hit a homerun with this book.

Review: I read this book in a week, and, BOY, was it what I needed!!! I'm so convinced that everyone in network marketing, new and not so new, should pick this up time and time again. I have my upline reading it, my downline reading it, and friends who are thinking about going into business for themselves reading it. It should be on the night stand of every network marketer in the UNIVERSE!!!
