Rating: Summary: The best book for basic financial concepts I've ever read Review: This is an excellent book from cover to cover. I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about changing their financial position. This book will knock over some sacred cows on it's way to exposing the truth by teaching that financial independance is a choice, not based on your upbringing or previously conceived notion about the rich and how they obtain wealth. I can't wait to read Cashflow Quadrant!
Rating: Summary: This is the most awesome book that I have ever red. Review: This book is pratical and chuck full of advice on how to correctly handle your money. This book should be apart of the mandatory reading for all High School Students. It is a big eye opener. I wish I would have had access to this information at a kid.
Rating: Summary: A superb book for people who wants (and will) become wealthy Review: I had come from a poor environment and at the age of 23, I thought I was doing well with a six figure income and a nice BMW. Now at the age of 24 I'm no better off, actually (financially) I'm worse off. Thanks to the Book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, it's opened my eyes to the financial traps that so many of us fall into. I highly recommend this book to any individual who wishes to improve their financial situtation, regardless of your background. Thanks you Robert. Hopefully, I'll be able to meet you someday.
Rating: Summary: THE book to read on building wealth. Review: Possibly the best book I've ever read on building personal wealth. In a world of "Chicken Littles" it's refreshing to have an author teach on taking the path less travelled. I too have heard the lectures on getting good grades and a great job. It used to be the smart thing to do but now it's time to OWN great companies and hire employees to work for us! I highly recommend you read this book and then start building your financial intelligence as Robert suggests.
Rating: Summary: If you have kids -- this book is must reading!!! Review: I read this book twice before I could put it down. Thank you Robert Kiyosaki for doing this piece of work. My thirteen year old son saw me reading this book and asked if he could read it. He completed it in 48 hours! If you want to teach your kids how to prepare for life and not make the same mistakes 95% of the population makes then read this book. You'll be glad you did.
Rating: Summary: Slow at first, riveting in the end Review: The format of the book is slow and choppy. It is difficult to get through the first couple chapters hash and rehash. By the end, the points are made clear and poignant. I give it 5 stars for the content, and three for the structure.
Rating: Summary: The answer to today's money problems!! Review: I only wish the book was written years ago and that somebody sat me down and made me understand the book. I have always seemed to know these principles but they were never focused. Robert Kiyosaki has written the "HOLY GRAIL" in the common persons' words!
Rating: Summary: A must read for teens and adults ! Review: This book should be in our school and public libraries. The information is invaluable and is not taught in our schools or most homes .You'll want to buy several copies and give them away. Americans are " sick "financially and this is the prescription for economic health.
Rating: Summary: Encourages reader to think outside the box Review: The author encourages the reader to go further in life financially by changing his or her way of thinking about money--how to spend it, how to make it. The book is full of excellent personal experiences that the author shares to show how it is done. Be prepared to be challenged to be a better manager of your financial life!
Rating: Summary: Get out of the "Rat Race!!!" Review: Mr. Kiyosaki explains the problems with our societies current paradyms of money, success and creating wealth. How we are currently in the "Rat Race" and do not know how to break out of the race. I found this book to be a watershed moment in my life as an investor and creator of personal wealth. It is not a get rich quick book. It is a book on changing the way we look at our financial situations and why we need to change our way of thinking to make quantum leaps in our personal wealth
