Rating: Summary: Easy, predictable and duplicatable Review: Everybody knows that stocks go up and down right? But how do you know what the highs and the lows are and how to plat them to make money? Gregory Witt answers that with this excellent book called rolling stocks.Rolling stocks are actually channelling stocks. Stock market technicians know that certain stocks move up and down within a range. It is predictable, duplicatable and easy to do...when you know how. Gregory Witt provides the know how. Rolling Stocks added excitement to my dull portfolio and actually turned stagnant equities into cash flow. It's worth a read. Great book.
Rating: Summary: The nuts and bolts of trading in volatile stocks Review: I found Gregory Witt's, Rolling Stock, an eye-opener for those of us little fish swimming in the high seas. I've read a variety of comments about the book (good and bad) and believe that Witt is a master at his craft. For example, I opened my account one month ago and have begun to roll two different stocks. In one day, I netted $85 on my account which by the way, contained a mere $400 in it. Sure, there are risks, but if you're ready to do your homework, dive into Witt's Rolling Stock. A must read for us tiny guppies struggling to survive as we swim in open waters.
Rating: Summary: It made sense but I didn't do it Review: I have never bought a stock in my life. But if I were to buy stock this seems to be an interesting and safe way to do it. I didn't finish the book but I don't think its the author's fault...my interests drifted into other things.
Rating: Summary: Powerful. Sure beats "Buy and Hold" Review: I loved this book. I found that Greg explained everything I needed to know about buying rolling stocks in terms that I could understand. I knew nothing about the stock market, but after reading this book, I had a good grasp on this technique, and I've made money using it. I would recommend this book to people who would like to understand the basics of buying rolling stocks.
Rating: Summary: Easy, predictable and duplicatable Review: I really liked this book. This was the first trading strategy I learned and mastered. This strategy and the techniques in this book has made me money. Although I've gotten into other trading strategies, I still love rolling stocks because the concept is fairly simplistic. Witt's book is well-written without being either too easy or too hard to understand. My book is all marked up with all sorts of little notes throughout. His examples were also easy for me to follow since I also have TC-2000, a technical software. This book is good for beginning traders on rolling stocks. I even think for seasoned traders this is a good review book.
Rating: Summary: Making $$$ on the ups and downs of stocks Review: Never has there been a better time to utilize rolling stocks than like right now. And by far, Rolling Stocks by Gregory Witt is the best guide on how to profitably use Rolling Stocks.
Some people I have talked with have been dissappointed trying to play rolling stocks but in every case I have found that they picked the wrong stocks. They felt that since all stocks move up and down, just buy a stock on a dip and ride it up. Doesn't work that way.
Gregory Witt offers successful strategies on how to profitably, I repeat, profitably play rolling stocks. Witt makes several points that are worth repeating:
1) Rolling Stocks are more commonly found in the lower price
ranges
2) Lower priced stocks roll faster
3) Lower priced stocks have greater percentage increases
4) Rolling stocks tend to emerge after a stock has fallen from
a higher price level
5) Rolling stocks have a tendency to go up after they finish
rolling
6) Rolling stocks tend to have predictive stochastics
7) Rolling stocks are less likely to be found in large,
profitable companies
Rolling Stocks shows you both how to play rolling stocks and where to find them. Another place to find them is at www.wadecook.org.
Highly recommend Rolling Stocks for anyone who wants to learn how to cash flow the stock market. Additional i nformation can be found in Wall Street Money Machine VOL 1 and Wade Cook's Stock Picking Handbook.
Rating: Summary: The only book of it's kind. Review: There sure are other books on the stock market, but other than Wall Street Money Machine, this is the only book that talks about Rolling Stocks and this book goes far beyond the 2 chapters in Wall Street Money Machine. Read this book and turn your stocks into a rolling cash flow machine.
Rating: Summary: There's better book's out there Review: This book discusses Wade Cook's investing method of "rolling stocks". It goes into the details of investing in these stocks in much more depth than Wade Cook. I would definitly recommend this book to anyone interested in managing their own stock portfolio, whether you chose to use this investment method or not, as it explains the cycles many stocks go through, and can help in deciding an entry and exit point. I have used this method in investing and have good returns, although I have also combined this method of investing with information I have learned from other sources. This book can definitly be a valuable resource in a well rounded investment library.
Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT, EASY TO UNDERSTAND TOOL. Review: WE PURCHASED" ROLLING STOCKS" A FEW MONTHS AGO. WE PREVIOUSLY HAD "FAIR" RESULTS WITH ROLLING STOCKS USING ANOTHER METHOD. WE GAVE THIS METHOD A TEST DRIVE WITH STOCKS LISTED IN WADE COOKS WIN PROGRAM BEFORE ACTUALLY INVESTING ANY MONEY. AFTER WE BECAME REASONABLY ADEPT AT THIS METHOD WE BEGAN TRADING WITH STOCKS $5.00 AND UNDER , USUALLY 1000 SHARES OR SO. TO MAKE A SHORT STORY LONG, WE MADE OVER $5000 THE FIRST MONTH. WE HAD 12 WINNERS 2 LOSERS AND 1 BREAK EVEN. I DO WISH THE BOOK CONTAINED MORE CASE STUDIES ON ACTUAL TRADES COMPLETE WITH DATES. THE CASE STUDIES (OR EXAMPLES) IN THE BOOK WERE VERY HELPFULL SINCE WE COULD BACKTRACK THE TRADES ON TELECHART 2000. I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE SEEN MORE...PERHAPS IN THE FUTURE? THIS BOOK IS CERTAINLY A 5 STAR (ONE STAR FOR EACH GRAND WE MADE THE FIRST MONTH)! TRY IT BEFORE YOU KNOCK IT.
