Summary: Good Book for beginners
Review: This is a good book if youa are new to trading with emphasis on psychological aspects. While it is important to be mentally ready to cut your losses and let your profits run, you still need a trading plan that has a high probability of producing profits. Although this book offers some useful concepts for trading gaps, selling short and few others it does not offer a trading system that a beginner can build on to produce profits.
With the level of success the author had in day trading in real life. it would have been useful for him to give some actual examples from his trades instead of ficticious company names.
In addition, I was expecting that there will be a discussion of level II since that is important to day traders.
Everything considered , this is a good book to start with that allows you to get into the right frame of mind to move to more advanced ones.

Summary: Worthless , Save Your Money
Review: Who cares what the late 90s were like? What has Parness done for us lately? NOTHING! This book is basic at best and offers nothing that you can't find for free all over the web. Let's see how he is doing now that the market isn't so easy anymore. Update the book with real, recent examples! He never would, because he is now horrible. Another bull market genius.

I was a member of his site for 3 months, and his picks were mostly terrible, with no follow up on his losers, and huge touting of his occassional winners.

Those that can't do, write books pretending they can I guess.
