The issues are written in laymen's terms and require no other reference in understanding the finer points. You get some added bonus of author's insights into problems that may arise during the actual sales process and how to avoid them which comes from his some 30 years experience being intermediary in buying and selling businesses. The book is written in a concise professional way that can benefit anyone from a first time business seller to a seasoned lawyer, and executives who are looking to gain knowledge about process of selling businesses. The book was so intriguing that I was able to finish reading it in one sitting on a weekend. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is considering sale of their business to plan for a smooth exit strategy.

Review: This extremely well written book was very helpful in providing me with a discussion of the step-by-step process of selling a business. I particularly liked the numerous stories of first-hand experiences that the author cites to reinforce his discription of the entire selling process.

It is very clear that the book was written by someone who has actually worked hand-in-glove with business owners in selling their companies. He certianly understands the problems owners face in the selling procress and how to best deal with them.
