Review: MLM (Multi Level marketing) is a kind of semi-legal pyramid scheme. It is a variant of what used to be called a Ponzi scheme. The addition of actual merchandise to a pyramid scheme does not significantly change the nature of the beast. The people on top make money, the others lose (sometimes big time).

WARNING: MLM schemes may be legal, but joining them is not a good idea. I have known people whose lives have been destroyed by MLM cults.
